Yes, I see it as a sort of homage, really, but the style is different enough to be gloriously cool in its own right.

Demon Days. Jap. I was 18 back then, still in the middle of discovering my musical taste, went into Gothic and Industrial stuff and then this album happened.
So completely different from the rest of my music but still it moved something in me, until this day. Or, in tumblr-speak: All this feeeeeeels!
